thinking if leaving the financial world is a good decision. I know i
wont regret it. I might look back at the years..but only for the
wonderful experiences i have had !
There has been so much i've learnt ! So much !!
This morning, before i could leave for work, puppah asked me to do a
flashback..of all the experience i've had.. Right from my days at The
British Council till Religare.
It kind of set me back all day. Because for somebody like me who
always flunked Math & hated number crunching, all my 4 years of work
experience have involved the thing i hated most ! NUMBERS !
BUT, the people i have worked with have been amazing ! The age gap
with the people i've worked with has had its advantages &
disadvantages but they've all helped me in being what i am today.
I've always dreamed of being a part of the media world. ALWAYS ! So
you can imagine my disappointment when after college i got sucked into
the finance world & yes. I loved it ! I loved the fact that i always
had something to keep my mind going. There were times, i was
frustrated because i was'nt living my dream. I conveniently gave it
up..
Now. When i am absolutely sick and tired of the finance world, i have
decided to go ahead and do what i love to do. More so what i WANT to
do.
Watching this movie today Julie & Julia, its amazing to see how Julia
jumps up every morning all set to take on her dream...to fulfill what
she LOVES doing. I want to be like that. Wake up every morning knowing
that i will be doing something i love and not that i am doing
something just for money.
After all, It is all about living your dream. Now, I am going to live mine.
